Maternity photographer in Etobicoke
Soft light, the lake behind you, and an unhurried session close to home.
Maternity · from $300
A maternity session shouldn't be something you have to travel across the city for — especially in the third trimester. Being based in Etobicoke means I can offer expecting parents a calm, unhurried session minutes from home, in light I know well.
Etobicoke's waterfront is quietly perfect for maternity photography. The Humber Bay parks have soft, open light and the kind of gentle backdrops — water, sky, greenery — that keep the focus on you. Colonel Samuel Smith Park and James Gardens give you sheltered, natural settings if you'd prefer something more private. Nothing here requires a long walk or difficult terrain, which matters more than people realise when you're further along.
Maternity sessions run about 45–60 minutes, paced entirely around your comfort. Partners are always welcome, and so are older children if you'd like the session to include them. I direct gently throughout — you never have to wonder how to stand or where to put your hands. Because Etobicoke is home, scheduling is flexible, there's no travel fee, and we can easily adjust timing around how you're feeling that week. I send a styling guide in advance, including notes on what photographs well at this stage.

Etobicoke session questions
When in my pregnancy should I book a maternity session?
Most maternity sessions happen between 30 and 36 weeks, when the bump is beautifully defined but you're still comfortable moving. Booking a little earlier secures your preferred date.
Is there a travel fee for Etobicoke maternity sessions?
No. Etobicoke is my home base, so there are no travel fees — and being local means we can easily adjust timing around how you're feeling.
Can my partner and children be in the photos?
Absolutely. Partners are welcome in every maternity session, and older children can join too. We'll plan a mix of solo and family frames.
Are the Etobicoke locations easy to walk in late pregnancy?
Yes — I choose spots with flat, short, easy paths. The Humber Bay parks and James Gardens require no difficult terrain, which matters in the third trimester.
What should I wear for a maternity session?
After booking I send a styling guide with notes on what photographs well at this stage — flowing fabrics, fitted pieces that show the bump, and soft tones all work beautifully.
How long is a maternity session?
About 45–60 minutes, paced entirely around your comfort. We take it slowly and never rush — the calm is part of the result.
